Street Cat Success Stories.
These are some of our favorite street cat success stories. They are all former Downtown Cats now living the Uptown Cat experience.
Kratos: Neonatal kittens are extremely fragile
Kratos is perhaps our biggest of our street cat success stories. He was removed from his mother immediately after birth, tossed in a bag and dumped in the trash. Cold, hungry and alone, he screamed until some kind hearted person dug him out and brought him to us.
White cat: Lessons in the importance of TNR
For female cats, TNR is a life saver. While unsterilized, living on the streets, females are targeted by unsterilized males. This leads to fighting and unfortunate situations for many cats. When they do have babies, many females suffer physically in order to raise their kittens.
Yoda: The somewhat yukky truth about tapeworms
You never know what you will get, especially when you bring in unfortunate looking kittens. When we found Yoda, he was absolutely stick thin, weighing no more than around 400g. He was dirty and covered in fleas. It was a very sad sight.
